Vandalia Health welcomes Shnoda to cardiology team

Vandalia Health is pleased to announce the addition of Mina Shnoda, MD, to its team of cardiovascular specialists. Dr. Shnoda brings extensive clinical training, academic research and leadership experience in cardiology to the health system.
A specialist in noninvasive cardiology, Dr. Shnoda earned his medical degree and a Master of Science in Cardiovascular Medicine from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, where he also completed a three-year residency in cardiovascular medicine and later served as an assistant lecturer. He ws named Chief Cardiovascular Resident during his tenure there.
In the United States, Dr. Shnoda completed his internal medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., and cardiovascular fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in June 2025. He also trained at the renowned Texas Heart Institute in Houston during a cardiovascular externship.
Dr. Shnoda is board certified in nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular computed tomography, internal medicine and echocardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians and the European Society of Cardiology.
Dr. Shnoda is a dedicated researcher, with more than two dozen published articles and abstracts in leading cardiology and internal medicine journals. His work has explored topics ranging from novel imaging in endocarditis to outcomes in cancer-related cardiovascular disease and emerging therapies in cardiology.
