Diabetes Learning Center

The Diabetes Learning Center of Mon Health Medical Center has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education.  Our goal is to educate people with diabetes and pre-diabetes about self-care and decision making to assist them in living well.

Whether patients are newly diagnosed or have had diabetes for a number of years, diabetes self-management education can help people with diabetes improve or maintain their health.  You must be referred by a healthcare provider to attend the diabetes education courses, but a referral is not necessary for the prevention program as long as you meet the criteria to participate in the program.
