The Health Plan, Charleston Area Medical Center, Mon Health Announce Partnership

The Health Plan (THP) is excited to partner with Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) and Mon Health System to launch a high performance network (HPN) offering members the lowest premiums and costs at some of the largest and best health care facilities in the state.

What is our high performance network?

A high performance network is created when a health plan and health systems create a network to offer affordable care and improved patient experiences. Our partnership with CAMC and Mon Health provides a plan with broad access and affordable, nationally-renowned care with focused partner healthcare providers.

We Provide Nationally-Acclaimed Care
THP collaborated with CAMC and Mon Health to create a high performing commercial plan because all three organizations are nationally recognized for quality and safety.
• Mon Health Medical Center and Mon Health Stonewall Jackson were recently awarded an “A” grade for patient safety by The Leapfrog Group. They are the only hospitals in West Virginia to achieve this distinction.
• CAMC Health System is a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient. CAMC was one of only four recipients and the first and only organization in West Virginia to ever receive the honor.
• THP recently received a CMS 4.5 Star rating for its Medicare Advantage HMO and is accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
