Sunyecz recognized again among Pittsburgh Magazine’s top physicians

Vandalia Health physician John Sunyecz, MD, FACOG, has once again been recognized by Pittsburgh Magazine as a Top Doctor — marking his fourth consecutive year earning the distinction since first being honored in 2023.

The annual Pittsburgh Magazine Top Doctors list is compiled in partnership with Castle Connolly, a national healthcare research and information company that identifies leading physicians through a rigorous peer nomination and review process.

Dr. Sunyecz specializes in gynecology at Vandalia Health Gynecology in Hopwood, Pa., and Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center in Morgantown, with a focus on minimally invasive procedures. A Certified Surgeon of Excellence and Master Surgeon in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, he performs advanced laparoscopic procedures and treats conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic prolapse and incontinence. He provides comprehensive gynecologic care across all stages of life, including both surgical and nonsurgical treatment for pelvic health conditions and menopause management.
