Staying Active at The Village at Heritage Point | Here’s to Your Health Balance

The Village at Heritage Point is luxury senior living located in the heart of Morgantown where residents enjoy countless amenities, gourmet dining, and exciting activities from book clubs to day trips. However, in between all of the lux and leisure in life at The Village, many residents still find the time to stay healthy and active.

Among the many activities to get involved in at The Village is the Here’s to Your Health Balance Program. The Here’s to Your Health Balance Program is held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and provides an opportunity for the residents to stay active while indoors. At each class, residents perform a combination of stretches, lift exercises with dumbbells, and balance exercises through Grow Young Fitness. 

“I am stronger now than I was when I started coming to the class,” said Nancy Lohman, resident at The Village. “This has been a wonderful class and a great way to get to know other residents. My husband and I have lived at The Village for over a year now and we appreciate activities like this and the many other opportunities we’ve had here.”

Just in the month of January, the opportunities for residents to stay active are plentiful. From Tai Chi to dance classes, there’s something for everyone looking to get moving.

“We have a diverse population of residents, so we try to schedule a range of activities for them to be involved in,” said Ashley Kaminsky, Life Enrichment Manager at The Village. “There’s never a dull moment here, and that’s something our residents value about their life at The Village.”
