Mon Health System Welcomes Dr. Peter Kochupura

“We are proud to welcome Dr. Kochupura to Mon Health System,” said Karen Friggens, Vice President of Physician Services at Mon Health Medical Group. “His expertise in critical care, pulmonary, and sleep medicine are an invaluable addition to the care we provide and will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the patients we serve.”
Dr. Kochupura is board certified in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from New York Medical College, completed his residency at SUNY Health Science Center at Stony Brook, and completed his fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is also a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Kochupura joins Mon Health System most recently from WVU Medicine’s Uniontown Hospital where he was the Medical Director of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
