Mon Health Primary Care Welcomes Benjamin Abersold, New Family Nurse Practitioner in Core

“We are thrilled to welcome Benjamin Abersold to the Mon Health family. He is a valuable addition to our fantastic team of primary care providers and will certainly benefit the patients we serve in Core, West Virginia,” said Karen Friggens, Vice President of Physician Services at Mon Health Medical Group.
Benjamin received his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. He has worked as a registered nurse for over fourteen years and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
“It is a privilege and honor to be able to work for Mon Health. It is said that health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind, and spirit, and as a primary care provider serving the families of the Core community and throughout Monongalia County and beyond, it is my goal to provide a complete sense of ‘health’ to all individuals we serve at Mon Health,” said Benjamin.
Benjamin will be joining Dr. Sakellarides at Mon Health Primary Care in Core and will be seeing same-day acute patients, walk-ins, wellness visits, and hospital follow-up visits.
