Mon Health Medical Center Welcomes New Electrophysiologist

Mon Health Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Matthew Gaskill to its dedicated team of physicians. Dr. Gaskill specializes in cardiology and electrophysiology and will be joining the Mon Health Heart and Vascular Center in Morgantown, recently recognized as the first hospital in the state to receive an Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) with Electrophysiology Services (EPS) Accreditation.
“In addition to the AFib Accreditation, the American College of Cardiology (ACC) has designated Mon Health Medical Center as a HeartCARE Center National Distinction of Excellence,” said Dr. Bradford Warden, Executive Director of the Mon Health Heart and Vascular Center. “We are the only hospital in West Virginia and only the 24th hospital in the nation to receive this distinction and are thrilled to have Dr. Gaskill join this team of heart care leaders.”
Dr. Gaskill recently finished a two-year fellowship in Electrophysiology at the Boston University Medical Center in Massachusetts. He has also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow at St. John Hospital in Michigan.
