Mon Health Medical Center offering free flu shots to the community

Mon Health Medical Center will be offering free flu shots at three community sites Dec. 5 and 6.
The vaccine is available to anyone age 9 and over. Flu vaccine can help protect you from getting the flu, make the flu less severe if you do get it and keep you from spreading flu to your family and others.
The CDC recommends individuals receive a dose of flu vaccine every fall.
Mon Health Medical Center free, walk-in flu shot schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday, Dec. 5, 5-7 p.m., Scott's Run Settlement House
- Thursday, Dec. 6, 9-11 a.m., Milan Puskar Health Right
- Thursday, Dec. 6, noon-3 p.m., Raymond Wolfe Pantry, Kingwood
