Mon Health Medical Center HealthFair Relocating, Changing Date

To better serve our community, Mon Health Medical Center is changing the date and the location of its annual HealthFair.

In 2019, the HealthFair is moving to June 8, out of winter and into late spring. And, the event will move to the Mon Health Medical Center campus. In past years, the HealthFair was at the Morgantown Mall.

"Based on feedback from our community, we believe this change will make access to our health screenings and information from our partners more accessible," said Karol Koast, Mon Health Medical Center HealthFair Coordinator. "The event will not be impacted by unpredictable winter weather and the new location will provide an opportunity to see the wide range of services we offer."

To accommodate those who typically have their multiphasic blood analysis screenings in February. Mon Health Medical Center will be offering these screenings on Feb. 23, March 2 and March 12.

The Feb. 23 and March 2 multiphasic screenings will be held from 7-11 a.m. in the Hazel Ruby McQuain Conference Center. The March 12 multiphasic will be held from 7-10 a.m. at the Mountaineer Mall on Green Bag Road. Pre-registration is required. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Cost of the multiphasic is $30. A Prostate Specific Antigen screening (PSA/men only) and a Thyroid (TSH) screening may be added for an additional $15 each. For the most accurate results, participants must fast for 12 hours prior to the screening.
