Mon Health Medical Center Director Elected to the AHRA Board

Mon Health Medical Center Imaging Services Director Brenda DeBastiani has been elected to a three-year term to the AHRA Board of Directors, an international association for medical imaging management.

"The AHRA has been a huge resource for me as an imaging leader and for Mon Health Medical Center," DeBastiani said. "I have friends and mentors from across the country whom I have met through the AHRA. All I have to do is pick up the phone and ask them a question, and they have 'been there done that,' or know someone to connect me with to get assistance."

DeBastiani has been director of imaging services at Mon Health Medical Center since 2013 and has worked in radiology at the hospital for 29 years.

She joined AHRA in 2006 and achieved Fellow status in 2014. She has been a conference and annual meeting speaker, chaired the Web Development Committee, and served as a chapter author for Asset Management in Radiology, 2nd edition.

"I am very honored and excited for this opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors for the AHRA," she said.

Founded in 1973, AHRA has more than 5,000 members.
