Mon Health Medical Center Auxiliary 2019 Ball of the Year Date, Theme Announced

The 57th Annual Mon Health Medical Center Auxiliary's Ball of the Year fundraising event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Morgantown Event Center at the Marriott Morgantown Waterfront Place. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m., and it is followed by dinner and dancing.

The Ball of the Year is one of the Auxiliary's largest fundraising initiatives. In fact, the 2018 event raised nearly $150,000 for new medical equipment for the hospital's respiratory/pulmonary care department.

Danica Rubenstein, this year's chair of the Ball of the Year Committee, along with Jason Savage, announced the theme of the Ball as "Return to Atlantis," which features under the sea elements. They are working with many talented artists, putting together a fantastic setting for this year's ball.

"Jason and I are extremely excited to lead this year's Ball of the Year," Rubenstein said. "We look forward to supporting Mon Health Medical Center in its mission to provide the highest level of care to our community one patient at a time through this black-tie event."

Throughout the year, we'll be announcing new initiatives that will further support the care we offer to families throughout the region being made possible by the Ball of the Year.
