Mon General FastCare Will Close on November 26

The Mon General FastCare urgent care clinic at the University Town Centre Giant Eagle will close on Tuesday, November 26, 2013.
The walk-in clinic opened in 2009 to treat sore throats, ear aches, cold and flu symptoms and other minor illnesses.
“After three years, it has been decided that retail clinics are not a core business for us,” said Mon Health System President and CEO Darryl Duncan. “Although FastCare has grown in volume, it has not grown substantially enough to warrant continued operations.”
Signage posted outside the former clinic directs patients to Wedgewood Family Practice clinics in nearby Suncrest and Westover, both open Monday through Friday from 8:30AM – 9:00PM. The Westover clinic is also open on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00AM – 6:00PM.
