Posted Date: 12/16/2025

First Exchange Bank has donated $3,000 to support breast cancer initiatives at Vandalia Health through the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation, marking the second consecutive year the bank has contributed to the cause through its annual “Pink Out” campaign.

During the month of October, First Exchange Bank pledged to donate $25 for every new deposit account opened, successfully reaching its $3,000 fundraising goal. Bank representatives presented the donation today at the Women’s Imaging Center at Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center in Morgantown.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with Vandalia Health and the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation to support its breast cancer initiatives for a second year,” said Drew Harding, Branch Manager of First Exchange Bank’s Pierpont Landing office in Morgantown. “Breast cancer touches so many individuals and families in our communities, and we are honored to help advance programs that support early detection, education and patient care.”

“The staff at First Exchange Bank look forward to participating in our annual Pink Out event each year,” said Lisa Novak, Branch Manager of First Exchange Bank’s Suncrest office in Morgantown. “Being able to give back to such an important cause and partner with the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation is incredibly meaningful to our team.”

Funds raised through the campaign help advance the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness, support early detection and improve outcomes for individuals affected by breast cancer across the region.

“We are deeply grateful to First Exchange Bank for its continued generosity and commitment to our breast cancer initiatives,” said Laura McCall, Senior Director of Philanthropy, Mon Health Medical Center Foundation. “Support like this helps ensure access to life-saving screenings, vital post-mastectomy resources and educational programs that make a lasting difference for patients and families throughout our communities.”

“Support from community partners like First Exchange Bank helps us meet patients where they are — not just at diagnosis, but throughout their entire care journey,” said Regan Siko, Director, Oncology Service Line, Mon Health Cancer Center. “Investments like this strengthen the programs that surround clinical care, from education and navigation to resources that help our patients focus on healing.”
