“We are so proud of our community and staff for their support of this event and 3D Mammography at Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital. There is a great need for this technology in our community, and seeing the community step up is truly incredible,” Melissa Lockwood, CAO of Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital, said.

3D Mammography is an FDA-approved technology that takes multiple images, or X-Rays of breast tissue to recreate a 3-dimensional picture of the breast. Traditional mammography is only a single image. This technology helps to detect breast cancer early and detect more forms of cancer.
