Mon Health Preston Memorial Urgent Care Providing Free Sport and Band Physicals to Local Students

Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital is offering free sport and band physicals to all Preston County student-athletes. The physicals are available by appointment only through August 31 at Mon Health Preston Memorial Urgent Care in Reedsville. If you have established care with a primary care physician, please call them to make an appointment.
“The communities served by Preston Memorial trust us with their student athletes’ care each summer to prepare them for extracurricular activities throughout the school year,” said Melissa Lockwood, Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital Chief Administrative Officer. “We are proud to continue supporting our communities through this service.”
Free sport and band physicals are a service provided annually by Preston Memorial Hospital. In 2019, Preston Memorial healthcare providers performed over 450 physicals, saving families an average of $50.
“Many families have received free sport and band physicals this year, and we’re looking forward to serving more of our local student-athletes this summer,” said Tamara Newsome, Preston Memorial Hospital Physician Center and Outpatient Clinics Nurse Manager.
