Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital Welcomes Dr. Steven McLaughlin, Orthopedic Surgeon

KINGWOOD, WV (June 10, 2021) – Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital welcomes the newest member to their medical staff, Dr. Steven McLaughlin, Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. McLaughlin is now seeing patients at the Physician Center located at Preston Memorial Hospital, 150 Memorial Drive, Kingwood, WV 26537.
Dr. McLaughlin attended medical school at West Virginia University. After graduation, he completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he also served as Chief Resident.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. McLaughlin to our amazing group of physicians here at Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital,” said Melissa Lockwood, Chief Administrative Officer.
Dr. McLaughlin will be providing services such as hip, knee, or shoulder replacement, ACL reconstruction, foot and ankle surgery, meniscus repair, fractures, hand surgery, rotator cuff surgery, sports injuries, and more.
“When I was given the opportunity to work at Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital, it was like coming home. I grew up in West Virginia and completed undergrad and medical school at WVU. I am honored to be back in WV serving the orthopedic needs of the people of Preston County,” said Dr. Steven McLaughlin.
