Relocation to Move Forward for Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital

With a recent ruling by the West Virginia Health Care Authority (HCA), Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital has announced it will move forward with construction and relocation plans in Lewis County.
The new hospital, which will be a relocation of the existing facility, will be located at the intersection of Interstate 79 and U.S. 48 in Lewis County. This location is less than five miles from the current hospital, making it easily accessible to patients from throughout the region.
“We’re excited to bring a new, state-of-the-art hospital to Lewis County and to continue serving our patients for many years to come. This new facility will not only provide the latest medical technology, but a modern and comfortable environment that will help enhance our patients’ healing and recovery,” said Kevin Stalnaker, Chief Administrative Officer at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The decision to relocate the hospital was made to keep the facility up to the same level of care provided by the exceptional healthcare staff at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. The facility will be equipped with new technology and equipment to minimize the need for patients to travel outside the region for healthcare.

Construction of the new hospital is expected to begin soon with a completion date to be announced. Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital will share additional details about this exciting project as it progresses.
