Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital recently announced they are now offering a new platform that elevates traditional anesthesia, the Mindray A8 Anesthesia System. The new platform introduces innovative technology and retains traditional features to support patients and clinicians throughout the perioperative care path.
The A8 Anesthesia System is developed by Mindray, a leading global developer, manufacturer, and supplier of medical devices. The system introduces innovative technology to maximize patient safety, improve patient outcomes, complement the way clinicians work best, and increase efficiency in the Operating Room.
“We are extremely excited to utilize the best technology to assure safe and efficient anesthesia care for the surgical patients in our community,” said Teresa Harriman, Chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who leads the anesthesia team at Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital.
Functions of the new equipment include detailed and integrated patient monitoring, precise and high flow oxygen delivery systems, sensitive monitoring systems to identify abnormalities quickly, protective ventilation toolkits, and customizable profiles.
