Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital Donates Over 400 Bags Food to Local Community

Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital completed its annual food drive to support Food for Preston Backpack Program and local food pantries.
Over the course of the one-month food drive, employees collected 16 boxes of food for 14 pantries across Preston County. Hospital employees and volunteers also spent two evenings packing bags of food to provide weekend meals to students in the county. In total, 408 bags of food were packed for students.
“We are proud to serve our community by hosting our annual food drive and are glad to have exceeded our goal in the amount of food we raised to donate,” said Melissa Lockwood, Chief Administrative Officer of Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital. “Through the generosity of employees, volunteers, and the community members, we have been able to make a significant impact and meet the needs of individuals across Preston County.”
