Mon Health Cardiologist Now Scheduling Patients

Samatha Crites, DO, is now scheduling patients with the Mon Health Heart & Vascular Center.

Dr. Crites joined the Mon Health team in January after completing advanced training in cardiac imaging at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She specializes in cardiac imaging and non-invasive diagnostics such as echocardiogram, cardiac CT scan, cardiac MRI and nuclear stress test.

Dr. Crites earned her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, and then completed an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at WVU Medicine. She also holds a master's degree in exercise physiology from WVU.

The Webster County native is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
