Vandalia Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital to Host ‘Snake Chase’ 5K on March 16

Vandalia Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital is hosting the 3rd annual “Snake Chase” 5K Walk/Run at Noon on Sunday, March 16, at the Irish Spring Festival in Lewis County.

The road race begins the Ireland Community Building, 65 Community Drive, in Ireland.

The top three placers will receive Irish-themed medals. Participants may register for $5 at www.Webscorer.com.

Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital’s effort to encourage healthy eating and physical fitness is based on the hospital’s Community Health Needs Assessment. After four completed assessments, obesity remains one of the top issues facing the community.
