Sleep Studies Center

Our Hospital's Sleep Studies Center is for people who experience excessive snoring, daytime fatigue, sleep apnea, leg movements during the night, or sleep problems originating from illness or various lifestyle stress.

Patients spend the night in a comfortable, queen-size bed where they are monitored by trained staff and computer devices used to record sleep patterns. The data is analyzed and scored by a trained sleep disorders physician who then diagnoses the patient. Once the patient is diagnosed, the staff works with them toward a solution and a better night's rest.

SJMH's Sleep Lab Services is a physician-referred, program. Most insurances will provide coverage as long as admission is deemed medically necessary. Potential patients should check with their medical insurer prior to admission.
