Financial Assistance

Grafton City Hospital offers financial assistance so people can get emergency and medically necessary care even if they can’t afford it.

  • Help is available for people who are uninsured or underinsured, based on income, assets, and financial need.
  • Uninsured patients automatically receive a 30% discount on eligible services.
  • To apply, patients submit a financial assistance application with proof of income, assets, and expenses; decisions are typically made within 30 days.
  • If approved, bills are reduced to no more than typical Medicare rates, and payment plans are available for any remaining balance.
