  Executive Director of Philanthropy

  Since 2019, Luella Gunter, has led the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation as its Executive Director. Luella brings over 25 years of experience to our hospital system and strives to work with the hospital staff to keep community healthcare strong for years to come. Luella would like to thank all the community members who find it in their hearts to support the Foundation mission. Your investment in healthcare translates into making a real difference in the lives of families within North Central West Virginia.

  • Laura McCall,

    Senior Director of Philanthropy

    As the newest member of the team, Laura McCall brings extensive experience in fund development, capital campaigns, and planned giving to the Mon Health Foundation. With a track record of success, she helped secure over $75 million in private support from individuals, corporations, and foundations in her previous roles. She is a dynamic fundraising executive who fosters collaboration, improves processes, and makes data-driven decisions for long-term growth and sustainability. In this newly created position, she works closely with the executive director to develop and execute innovative strategies to advance the Foundation’s ambitious fundraising goals as Mon Health continues to expand their footprint in the region and beyond.

  • Joanna Wiley,

    Development Programs Manager

    Joanna Wiley has worked for the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation for over 17 years, having a wealth of knowledge about the Foundation's mission to advance healthcare throughout the region. She is not only our Gift and Prospect Research Specialist, but serves as the Coordinator for our Health Career Scholarships that provide support for traditional and non-traditional students across the communities we serve.
