Patient Satisfaction

Mon General continues to be the region's hospital of choice.

Patient satisfaction surveys are one of our most valuable tools for improving patient services. Many of our patients receive a survey shortly after discharge asking them to rank their opinion of the services they received.

Survey results are tabulated by Press Ganey Associates, a leading health care performance management company, and compared to similar surveys done at more than 1,000 hospitals nationwide.

There are several versions of the patient satisfaction survey, each tailored for the specific service for which it measures:
  • Inpatient
  • Outpatient
  • Emergency Department
Survey data is tabulated and shared with the Mon General Board of Directors, Hospital Administration, Physicians, and Employees. Meeting patient satisfaction goals is one of the measures used to evaluate the performance of the hospital.
